WHAT IS A PRE PAID FUNERAL?

A prepaid funeral is a funeral paid in advance.  It is specifically designed with your needs and wishes in place. All your information is documented in a contract and invested and managed by a secure company that specialises in the funeral industry. The contract is costed at today’s prices, everything that is written in your contract is covered for the time of need, thus relieving your family of any financial burden and giving you peace of mind. You can also maximise your pension entitlement as the plan is not subject to the income or assets test.

What does a funeral plan include?

You can include as much or as little as you require. Your funeral plan is designed to reflect your needs and wishes. Some options that you would want to consider are;

• The type of funeral service you would like
• Burial or Cremation
• The coffin of your choice
• The Church or Chapel for your service
• Death notice, flowers, mourning car
• Poetry, readings and music

 

What cannot be not included?

• Burial reservations
• Internment fees (they are paid at the time of need)
• Plaque & placement of cremated remains
